About Me
I am currently taking a pause on my Masters in Computer Science at Virginia Tech to pursue a career. I plan to attend my masters in the coming year. I received my Bachelors of Science in Computational Modeling and Data Analytics in May 2024, where I then pursued my Masters starting in June 2024 until December 2024. I specialize in data analysis, software development, and database management. I am passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex challenges. I have experience working on projects in various fields, including biostatistics, web development, and environmental data analysis. I hope to pursue a career in helping people with my data analytic skills.

- Compiled statistical reports in R and Python for an introductory biostatistics research program to underrepresented communities sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, iThrive, and AbbVie.
- Produced ANOVA tables and PCA analyses for data preparation, cleaning, and visualizations of clientele data.
- Had the honor with working to help publish a research paper clearing the production of the CUBE program which resulted in doubling the size of the program.
- Helped PhD students create proper statistical reports for their health research including HIPAA compliant work.

As a Computational Modeling and Data Science Major, I was constantly working with large data modeling, simulation, and optimization, drawing on the computational skills needed in today’s data world. The CMDA program draws on expertise from three departments at Virginia Tech whose strengths are in quantitative science: Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science. By combining elements of these individual disciplines in innovative, integrated courses, with an emphasis on techniques at the forefront of applied computation, CMDA imparts a suite of quantitative skills that the workplace is demanding. In addition to focusing on these aspects of CMDA, I took it a step further by pursuing graduate level classes in statistics to complement my major. Additionally, I took extra classes to obtain my minors in CMDA’s three core areas: Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science.
